IPTV Vera supports iPhone and iPad, but the suitable app and setup can vary by model and operating-system version. Instructions for a television or Android player may not apply to your Apple device.

Confirm the app before installing

Have your device model and iOS or iPadOS version ready. You can find them in Settings → General → About; Apple explains how to find the software version. Ask IPTV Vera for the exact App Store listing that matches your device and supplied setup method. The broader Devices & Apps list is an overview, not a promise that every app works on every model.

Before downloading, check these details on the listing:

  • App identity: match the exact app name and developer, not just the icon or a similar name.
  • Compatibility: check that your iPhone or iPad and installed operating-system version meet the current requirements.
  • Costs: review the download price, in-app purchases and subscriptions separately from your IPTV Vera plan.
  • Setup method: confirm that the app accepts the type of account or playlist details provided for your trial.

There is no need to buy an app upgrade before confirming compatibility.

Install and connect your trial

  1. Open the confirmed App Store listing. Use the App Store’s Search tab if needed. Tap Get or the listed price, then follow Apple’s download confirmation. “Get” means the download is free, but the app can still offer separate purchases or subscriptions. See Apple’s app-download instructions.
  2. Request the trial for your device. Include the model, operating-system version and the languages or content you want to check. English and French setup assistance is available.
  3. Add the supplied details. Open the player and use the account or playlist method confirmed for your trial. Copy the details carefully. If the app asks for a missing value, identify that field instead of guessing an address or password.
  4. Test everyday viewing. Try your preferred live content and available movies or series, check the TV guide and move between the list and playback. Note missing content or an awkward control while the trial is active.

Keep the player and the service distinct. An app activation or premium purchase is not automatically an IPTV Vera payment, and a feature shown by the app is not automatically included with your service.

Manage Wi-Fi and mobile-data use

Use a stable Wi-Fi connection for the first test. Before streaming through a mobile network, check your carrier’s data allowance and roaming terms. Data use varies with the stream and viewing time; there is no single reliable amount per hour for every setup.

  • On iPhone: open Settings and find Cellular or Mobile Data. Review the player’s usage and turn its cellular access off if you want the app to use Wi-Fi only. See Apple’s iPhone cellular-data controls.
  • On a Wi-Fi + Cellular iPad: open Settings → Cellular Data and review app access. Turning cellular data off for the player limits it to Wi-Fi. These options do not apply to Wi-Fi-only iPads. See Apple’s iPad cellular-data controls.

Names and options can vary by model, software and carrier. Wi-Fi Assist can use cellular data when Wi-Fi is weak, so check your cellular controls rather than assuming you will always stay on Wi-Fi. Your carrier’s records are the reference for billed usage.

The app is unavailable or incompatibleRecheck the exact listing, store region and required operating-system version. Do not substitute a similarly named app or change account regions just to follow a generic guide.
The app will not open or respondClose and reopen it, restart the device and check for an available app update. Apple provides steps for an app that stops responding. Avoid deleting the app as a first step: locally stored setup details may be lost.
Trial details are rejectedCompare the setup method and copied values with the original details. Check for extra spaces or missing punctuation. Keep the exact error text.
Playback works on Wi-Fi but not cellularCheck whether cellular data is enabled for the player and whether your carrier plan has data available. Do not change unrelated network settings.
Playback buffersNote the connection type and whether one item or several are affected. Follow the IPTV buffering guide before making several changes at once.

For a useful support message, include the device model, operating system, player name and version, connection type and exact symptom. Remove credentials and personal information from screenshots. This gives a clearer starting point than reinstalling repeatedly.

Choose the plan for the devices you use

After testing the setup and preferred content, compare 1–5 device plans in CAD. If you also intend to use a television or another device, confirm the appropriate plan and setup before adding it.
